              defaults write com.apple.finder 

              AppleShowAllFiles YES

Solution 2: Using Finder

  • Click on Go menu from, Finder -> Go to Folder
  • Enter the path of the folder inside the box and press Return
  • Next, enter path of your secret folder

Example: ~/Desktop/SecretFolder (where ~ refers to user folder path)
